Synopsis
Junko Saotome is Nana's sensible and no-nonsense best friend, who is much more emotionally mature than Nana. She often encourages Nana to be more independent and responsible. Junko also hosts the omake (bonus) section at the end of each manga volume, reading fan mail and displaying fan art. Nana often calls her "Jun."
