Amy Rose is a main character from the anime "Sonic X," which premiered in 2003. She is a young hedgehog and Sonic's most loyal fan, deeply in love with him. Often seen chasing after Sonic, she finds herself embroiled in conflicts with Eggman as well. Far from being a damsel in distress, Amy wields her Piko Piko Hammer as one of the most powerful characters, though she frequently uses it for comic relief.
