Synopsis
Rico from "Gunslinger Girl" was born with severe birth defects that confined her to a hospital for her entire life. On her eleventh birthday, her parents signed her over to the SWA, where she underwent a cybernetic operation that granted her a new lease on life. Despite being treated like a machine by her handler, Jean, Rico maintains a cheerful disposition and is the only one who clearly remembers her past in the hospital.
