Synopsis
Ponzu was an applicant in the 287th Hunter Exam who cleared the first three phases with relative ease and earned an unconditional invitation to the following exam. She later joined the expedition into NGL alongside Pokkle.
Her signature detail is a large yellow hat with white flaps that houses a beehive; the bees emerge at her command, or whenever she falls or screams. With it she wore a salmon blouse, pale yellow trousers and orange flats.
Serious and generally collected, Ponzu indirectly caused Bourbon's death but showed no guilt over it, the attack having been accidental. She was distinctly perceptive — she found the transmitter sewn into her own tag and worked out the nature of an opponent's ability.
Chemical traps are her primary weapons, backed by the bees that swarm out when she is threatened. Voiced by Haruka Kudō in the 2011 adaptation and Umi Tenjin in the 1999 one.
