Kanako Oono is the fourth president of "Genshiken," having joined the club at the start of the Fall term after graduating from an American high school. While she is normally soft-spoken, she is surprisingly upfront about her passion for cosplay, quickly becoming a main attraction at club events. Kanako also has a unique interest in yaoi featuring muscular, bald middle-aged men, and she plays a significant role in transforming the club into a "Society for the Study of Cosplay."
