Synopsis
Shigeru Ookido is a supporting character from the anime "Pokemon", first appearing in 1997. He serves as Satoshi's rival, with his knowledge of Pokémon stemming from being the grandson of Professor Okido. Initially portrayed as an overconfident trainer, Shigeru matures over time, becoming more humble and motivating Satoshi to improve as a trainer.
