Naota Nandaba is the main character of the anime and manga "FLCL". At twelve years old, he tries to appear mature and often delivers monologues claiming that "nothing amazing ever happens here," despite the surreal events around him. He idolizes his older brother Tasuku, carrying his baseball bat and viewing him as the epitome of adulthood.
