Synopsis
Yuugi Mutou is the main protagonist of the anime "Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Duel Monsters," which premiered in 2000. Initially a shy boy often teased for his height, he receives the Millennium Puzzle from his grandfather, granting him a wish for friends once solved. After completing the puzzle, he awakens a spirit within it, and together they face numerous challenges to help the Pharaoh regain his memories. Yuugi also appears in a supporting role in "Yu☆Gi☆Oh! GX."
