Moyu

Moyu is one of Tenjin's shinki, part of a small group of shrine-maiden spirits around him who present themselves collectively as the Tenjin Sisters. She first appears handling a routine job — clearing an ayakashi from a railway crossing — alongside Yato, Yukine, and Hiyori.

Later she is present for two more difficult moments in the household: expressing real unease when Daikoku comes looking for a shinki willing to take part in Yukine's purification ceremony, and then, after her fellow shinki Miyu harms herself and blights Tenjin, taking part in the purification ritual performed on Miyu before her banishment. Both moments say more about Moyu than her few individual scenes do on their own — a shinki who takes the weight of these rituals seriously, even when they involve someone she considers family.
