Daisuke Motomiya

Daisuke Motomiya is the main character in "Digimon Adventure 02" who takes over as team leader from his mentor Taichi, receiving his idol's goggles in the process. Although he often rushes into things and makes mistakes, his courage in the face of overwhelming odds is undeniable. Daisuke frequently finds himself in trouble due to his intense jealousy towards anyone he perceives as a rival for Hikari's affections, especially Takeru.
