Garp Monkey D. is a Marine hero known for cornering the legendary Pirate King, Gold Roger, multiple times throughout his career. He is regarded as one of the few who remembers the times of Roger. In Luffy's childhood, Garp trained him by throwing him into dangerous situations to make him stronger. He first appears in a supporting role in «One Piece» and also features in several films, including «One Piece Film: Strong World» and «One Piece Film: Z». He is voiced by Hiroshi Naka.
