Synopsis
Momonga was the guild name of Suzuki Satoru, an ordinary Tokyo salaryman and the founding guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown in the VRMMO YGGDRASIL. When the game's servers shut down, he and the guild's stronghold, the Great Tomb of Nazarick, were pulled into a new world — and his skeletal avatar became his real body. As Ainz Ooal Gown, he now rules Nazarick and is revered by its NPCs as the greatest of the Forty-One Supreme Beings.
In the New World he founded the Sorcerer Kingdom and rules it as the Sorcerer King, while secretly operating as the adventurer "Momon" alongside his partner Nabe (Narberal Gamma). Becoming undead has left him increasingly cold and calculating: he plans obsessively, hides his weaknesses, and treats every decision as a risk to Nazarick's safety.
Even so, he stays loyal to his old guildmates and protective of the NPCs they created, from Albedo to Demiurge, whose own schemes frequently shape the world around him.
