Synopsis
Menchi is a small stray dog that Excel finds on the street in the first episode of "Heppoko Jikken Animation Excel♥Saga" and decides to take home as an "emergency food supply." Throughout the series, Menchi tries to escape from both Excel and Hyatt, who see her solely as food. Although she cannot speak, she understands human language and is terrified of her owners. Episodes 10 and 19 focus on her experiences and memories of her previous owner, a kind old man who set her free out of concern for his own life. Menchi also sings the ending theme in each episode, except for the last one.
