Katakuriko Matsudaira

Katakuriko Matsudaira is a high-ranking government officer under the Bakufu, serving as the Police Superintendent in charge of the Shinsengumi and Commander Kondo Isao's superior. Known for his violent tendencies, he often wields weapons and holds unusual beliefs, such as thinking that people who wear sunglasses are assassins. He is also extremely protective of his daughter, Kuriko, recruiting the Shinsengumi to handle her personal issues.
