Kusuriuri

Kusuriuri is a mysterious wandering man with extensive knowledge of the supernatural, featured prominently in the anime "Mononoke" (2007) and "Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror" (2006). He carries a large wooden box filled with medicine and holy tools, including an enchanted sword used to slay mononoke. To wield the sword, Kusuriuri must uncover the "Katachi" (shape), "Makoto" (truth), and "Kotowari" (reason) of the mononoke he intends to exorcise. His origins are unclear, but he is not entirely human, possessing elf-like ears and pointed canine teeth.
