Synopsis
Kushana, the princess of Torumekia and the youngest daughter of the Vai Emperor, plays a pivotal role in «Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä». In the anime, she lost an arm as a child during an Ohmu attack, fueling her desire for revenge against the giant insects. While not entirely evil, she serves as an antagonist. In the manga, her character is more complex, acting as an antihero driven by hatred for her father and half-brothers. She commands the Torumekian Third Army, earning respect for her nobility in battle.
