Kohaku is the older of the twin maids in the Tohno mansion and a childhood friend of Shiki, alongside Hisui. Always seen smiling and cheerful, she wears a traditional Japanese kimono and is particularly skilled in medicine. Her name, Kohaku, translates to "amber" in Japanese, reflecting her eye color. She appears in the anime "Shingetsutan Tsukihime," which premiered in 2003, as well as in the "Melty Blood" series.
