Siegfried Kircheis

Siegfried Kircheis is a young captain serving in Reinhard's fleet and is his best friend. Born a commoner, he first met Reinhard when they were about ten years old. Kircheis promised Reinhard's sister, Annerose, to always be by her brother's side, and he kept this promise by following Reinhard in the military. As an excellent tactician, he often supports Reinhard in battles and helps restrain his ambition and wrath, believing in Reinhard's abilities and the righteousness of his intentions.
