Synopsis
Hayato Jin is the second pilot of «Getter Robo», portrayed as a psychopathic yet highly intelligent delinquent. He first appears as the leader of a student revolutionary group but is captured by the Saotome Research Institute after a fight with Ryoma and becomes the pilot of Getter-2. Hayato is the only character to appear in every «Getter Robo» series, taking on various roles from a regular teenager to an adult colonel and an aging scientist. His portrayal in the 1970s TV series is notably different, as he is less cold and cruel.
