Synopsis
Shirou Iori is the president of Honnouji Academy's Sewing Club and a member of the student council alongside Satsuki Kiryuuin and the Elite Four.
Shirou is serious and almost perpetually stern, having been seen smiling only once. Even so, he shows real concern whenever the leadership, and Satsuki in particular, run into trouble, and is always ready to step in and help.
According to interviews with the show's writer, Shirou and Satsuki have known each other since childhood: his uncle, the butler Mitsuzou Soroi, brought him along to play with Satsuki shortly after her father's death, and the two have remained close ever since.
Slim and not particularly tall, Shirou wears his long blond hair tied back in a ponytail, framed by two long bangs, along with oval glasses and a distinctive translucent orange mask covering the lower half of his face. As Sewing Club president he dons a three-star Goku Uniform styled as a long white lab coat, and once he joins Nudist Beach, both his uniform and his role in the fight against Revocs change accordingly.
