Kouichirou Iketani is the leader of the Speedstars and drives an S13 Silvia. He takes great pride in his racing team and cares deeply for everyone involved, including some opponents. Although his driving skills are lacking and he fears skidding, he is determined to overcome this fear and is willing to try anything to improve. Often referred to as "senpai" by Itsuki and Takumi, he works at the Esso gas station with them and loves to talk about cars endlessly.
