Tooru Honda

Tooru Honda is the main heroine of «Fruits Basket», which premiered in 2001. An orphaned high school student, she begins living in a tent until she is found by Shigure and Yuki, who invite her to stay with them in exchange for housekeeping. Tooru is characterized by her kindness, optimism, and selflessness, though other characters advise her to look after her own interests.
