Synopsis
Hiru is one of the Shadow Beasts, personal bodyguards to the Ten Dons, his codename meaning "leech". He was among the four the Dons sent into the Gordeau Desert to face the thieves who had taken the Underground Auction's lots.
He was a large, portly man with black hair and a distinctive nose, dressed in ordinary clothes — a T-shirt, casual trousers and sports shoes.
His sadism showed itself fully when he took evident pleasure in describing to Uvogin the horrific death awaiting him at the mandibles of his leeches.
As a Shadow Beast, Hiru held real influence in the Mafia Community and ranked among its ten finest Nen users — the Dons would not otherwise have taken him into their personal guard. Against Uvogin, none of it was enough. Voiced by Hidenobu Kiuchi in the 2011 adaptation and Keiichirō Hori in the 1999 one.
