Synopsis
Takashi Hayashida is a teacher at the high school where Rei decided to enroll. A big fan of shogi, he regularly reads shogi magazines. He is the only one in the school who has heard of Rei being a professional shogi player, although he initially assumed they merely shared the same surname. Takashi speaks to Rei in a friendly manner and often expresses concern when Rei feels lonely.
