Haruko Haruhara is the main character in "FLCL," claiming to be 19 years old. She is an energetic, spontaneous girl from outer space, working for the Galactic Space Patrol Brotherhood. Riding a yellow Vespa and wielding a blue bass guitar as a weapon, Haruko becomes the maid of the Nandaba household and serves as the catalyst for the events in "FLCL," with mysterious connections to the family cat, Miu Miu, who acts as a communicator with her superiors.
