Gowther

Gowther is the Goat's Sin of Lust among the Seven Deadly Sins, though he is not human at all: he is a living doll created over three thousand years ago by a demon craftsman, given a body that can pass for human and a mind built from borrowed memories and emotions rather than ones of his own. His Sacred Treasure, the bow Herritt, works with his power Invasion, which lets him alter or erase memories.

Because Gowther's personality was assembled rather than lived, he interprets emotions and social situations in a strangely literal, detached way, often saying blunt or inappropriate things without realizing the effect they have on others. He is fiercely analytical and has spent centuries observing people, which makes him an unexpectedly sharp judge of character even as he struggles to understand his own feelings.

His most defining relationship is with Guila, whom he once loved before altering her memories for what he believed were good reasons, an act that haunts him once he begins to grasp the weight of what he did. Gowther's arc largely concerns him learning to feel guilt and empathy on his own terms rather than through someone else's borrowed heart.
