Synopsis
Yumi Fukuzawa is the main character of the Japanese light novel and anime series «Maria-sama ga Miteru», created by Oyuki Konno. At the start of the series, Yumi is incredibly shy and lacks self-confidence. She first meets Sachiko, the star of Lillian School, who helps her fix her tie, mortifying Yumi in the process. Her friend, Tsutako Takeshima, captures this moment in a cute photo that she wants to display at the school festival. Other characters often comment on how Yumi's emotions are clearly visible on her face. In the second season, Yumi becomes Rosa Chinensis en bouton, though she has no petite soeur yet, with fans speculating it might be either Matsudaira Touko or Hosokawa Kanako.
