Synopsis
Friend is the main antagonist in "20th Century Boys" and "21st Century Boys," with his true identity being the central mystery of the story. He is a mysterious and charismatic cult leader who appears to possess otherworldly powers, such as flight. His followers use a unique symbol created by Kenji and his friends, suggesting that Friend might be someone within their group. In 2000, the cult established the Friendship Democratic Party, gaining significant political traction.
