Free

Free is a werewolf and the last surviving member of the Immortal Clan, once imprisoned for stealing the eye of the witch Maba. He takes his current name in honor of his own freedom after escaping the witches' prison with help from Eruka Frog, acting on Medusa's orders.

Behind the menacing exterior and genuine ferocity in battle is a fairly goofy, almost simple-minded character — his own prison-break plan, inspired by something he saw in a movie, falls apart over a detail he never bothered to think through. That mix of dangerous power and near-childlike sincerity makes him one of the more unpredictable members of Medusa's faction.

Having joined her out of gratitude for his freedom, Free remains one of her most loyal operatives right up until Medusa's own death.
