Synopsis
Faxi is a young boy from the home village of Thorfinn, and a minor supporting character in Vinland Saga. He appears only at the very start of the story, in the opening chapters of the manga and the first episodes of the anime, as one of the children of the peaceful Icelandic community the protagonist comes from.
In appearance he is a chubby kid with dark hair and gray eyes. He is dressed in a brown fur-trimmed hat, a green vest over a light green shirt, gray trousers, and dark brown shoes — the everyday clothing of a village child of the era.
Little is revealed about Faxi's personality. The one detail the source offers is his earnest childhood hope that he and his family will reach Valhalla when they die, a small window into the worldview of ordinary people in the Viking age.
The character is voiced by Hana Sato in Japanese, and by Alex Tipton and Ryan Bartley in the English dubs.
