Synopsis
Kim Diehl is a witch who fled her homeland and enrolled at the DWMA under a false name, becoming the partner of Jacqueline O'Lantern Dupre and one of the top students in the EAT class.
At first Kim comes across as mercenary and more than a little condescending — money matters more to her than almost anything, and she has no trouble landing cruel remarks about a classmate's looks or status, earning her the nickname "Witch of the Girls' Dorm." That front hides real insecurity, rooted in persecution back home for practicing forbidden healing magic, an ability that ran counter to a witch's expected nature of destruction.
Fleeing to the academy finally gives Kim a place to use her gift without fear, even as the risk of her true origins being exposed hangs over her the entire time.
