Demeter

Demeter is the goddess of the harvest, a kind and friendly head of her own familia, considered one of the gentlest deities even among Orario's more reserved gods. She keeps warm relationships with many other gods, including Hestia and Hermes, and remains nearly the only one Freya ever invites to share a divine bath with her.

Beneath that mature kindness lies a playful, slightly mischievous streak: she enjoys teasing the people around her, and once tried to touch Hestia's chest without asking, entirely unembarrassed by her own forwardness. At the same time, Demeter is remarkably perceptive, picking up on hidden motives even when other gods would rather look away.

What runs deepest in Demeter, though, is her care for her own followers: she kept watch over each of their lives even while they risked themselves to earn a living, and she was willing to offer herself up as a hostage without hesitation to save the children of her familia from someone else's vendetta.
