Black☆Star

Black☆Star is the last surviving member of a clan of assassins wiped out for its brutality, taken in as an infant by Sid Barrett. His weapon partner at the DWMA is Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, and his stated goal in life is nothing less than "surpassing the gods."

Loud, brash, and pathologically convinced of his own greatness, he's mocked for it by nearly everyone around him, Stein included. Underneath the bluster, though, is real loyalty — he's consistently willing to challenge opponents far above his level to protect the people close to him, especially Tsubaki.

Despite descending from a clan the academy itself condemned for its ruthlessness, Black☆Star is driven to prove he can forge his own path as a warrior rather than repeat his ancestors' fate.
