Synopsis

Atom is an android boy modeled after Tobio Tenma, created by his father, the head of the Institute of Science, in the year 2000. He possesses the strength of 100,000 horsepower (later 1,000,000) and has a kind, childlike personality. Atom is equipped with "seven amazing powers": jet-powered flight, multilingualism, analytical skills, headlight eyes, super-sensitive hearing, hidden weapons in his back, and the ability to discern a person's goodness or evil. Additionally, he has a built-in geiger counter and shortwave communication system.
