Shinn Asuka is the main protagonist of the anime "Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Destiny." He faced tragedy when his family was killed during an attack by the Earth Alliance on the neutral country of Orb. Blaming Orb's rulers for their ideals of peace without weapons, which led to his loss, he later joins ZAFT, becoming a pilot of the ZGMF-X56S Impulse aboard the battleship Minerva.
