Asta

Asta is a boy born without any magic in a world where magic determines everything — abandoned at a church with his foster brother Yuno, he grows up determined to become the Wizard King anyway. His breakthrough comes when he receives an anti-magic grimoire and, later, a devil partner named Liebe, letting him fight through sheer physical power and swordsmanship rather than spells.

Loud, hyperactive and almost stupidly optimistic, Asta shouts his goals at anyone who'll listen and plenty who won't, shrugging off mockery that would crush most people. He joins the Black Bull squad under captain Yami Sukehiro, where his relentless drive and refusal to accept limits gradually earn him the respect of a kingdom that once wrote him off entirely.
