Synopsis
Asser (アッサー) is a supporting character in the historical drama Vinland Saga, a Welsh envoy who appears during the events of the War Arc. He first shows up in Chapter 24 of the manga and in Episode 12 of the anime's first season.
Asser is recognizable by his light golden-blond hair worn in a bob cut, his light green eyes, and his thick eyebrows. He dresses in a beige shoulder cape over a turquoise outfit, paired with a black belt, light beige pants, and brown shoes, and he carries a sword on his person.
At first Asser comes across as a serious and obstinate man, but he calms down considerably once he learns of Askeladd's background. As the available source is limited, little more is documented about his part in the story.
He is voiced by Tsuguo Mogami in Japanese, and by Josh Morrison (Sentai dub) and Robbie Daymond (VSI dub) in English.
