Synopsis
Naruko's mother is a secondary character, mostly seen in relation to her daughter Naruko Anjou. She treats Naruko calmly and doesn't let herself be swayed by her attitude, but unlike Jinta's father, she sets firm limits on what her daughter is allowed to do, which is exactly why her anger is the one thing Naruko fears most. After serious arguments, Naruko will sometimes avoid her for a long stretch.
Even so, she's genuinely happy whenever her daughter's childhood friends come to visit and gets along well with each of them. She's an older, heavyset woman with long curly brown hair tied back and brown eyes, usually seen wearing an apron over a pink shirt.
