Amagi

Amagi is the primary antagonist of Black Torch, a mononoke who leads a war against humanity out of contempt for what he sees as an inherently weak species. Centuries earlier, he saved a village from a predatory mononoke and was worshipped as its patron god in return, an arrangement that shaped his belief in his own absolute superiority. When a rival domain nearly defeated him, the villagers offered him a human sacrifice to restore his strength — an act that hardened his conviction that humans exist to serve mononoke. In the present, Amagi seeks to seize Rago's power and orchestrates the events that draw Jiro Azuma and the Bureau of Espionage into direct conflict with him. Tall and immaculately dressed in a black-and-white suit, with hair split evenly black on one side and white on the other, Amagi is as outwardly composed as he is ruthless.
