Ritsuko Akagi

Ritsuko Akagi is the head scientist at NERV, heavily involved in the repair and maintenance of Tokyo-3's defenses against the Angels, particularly the Evas. As the daughter of Naoko Akagi, the developer of the MAGI supercomputer system, Ritsuko finds herself living in her mother's shadow, a figure she both admires and resents. Highly intelligent and dedicated to her work, Ritsuko exhibits a stoic demeanor that often contrasts with Misato Katsuragi's fiery personality. She has a fondness for cats and is known to be a heavy smoker.
