Synopsis
Everyone has a different perception of their own appearance as well as a unique way of interpreting it. In his animated self-portrait, Osamu Tezuka depicts himself as a slot machine. After a cycle of rugged, juxtaposed expressions, Tezuka's true form emerges.
Background
Nineteen animators from five countries collaborated on a project to animate their own faces. The results were screened at various animation festivals in each of the representatives' home countries.
